i like the space in the foreground.. is the lens distortion post-produced? if not what type of lens does this effect?

Nice! I like the composition, the background is a tad too dark for my liking, it draws attention to the foreground of course, but a little overdone in my opinion.

A great shot still though, thumbs up : )

For this one I didn't do any post-processing. Super-wides have a tendency to get too much in metering-wise, plus I always rate my Tri-X lower...together I ended up with a little too much overexposure. But it still came out okay :)
