As a piece of art, I'm not 100% sure about this. As recording an important moment in our cultural, it's brilliant. Taking it on an Android device is the cherry. This is an image that has really got me thinking!
Street photography is more about decisive moments and finding compositional elements rather then creating them. The "art" is more in seeing the image then manipulating it if that makes any sense?

I fully agree. I think that we allow studio standards & pictures - pretty as they are - to lead us astray. We need to be looking for moments that mean something, over technical perfection.
Yeah, I've convinced my mom to get am eReader. She's really an avid reader and was annoyed with me on her last visit that all my books were on my iPad, which I wouldn't let her use for long, "book reading" periods. It's also getting to the point where ebooks should start to finally come down in price (which was the biggest issue with me, that ebooks cost the same or more then print books).
