Aged ThoughtsAn old man sits ridgedly on a
cold park bench
during a warm midday afternoon;
a small, shrunken man, not bothering others,
but mumbling quietly to the ground,
thinking to himself:
"my eyes aren't what they used to be" he
mumbles;
but what had he seen with them back then?
nothing,
except the same place, same scenes, same friends;
his eyes never experienced
anything but monotony;
the old man closes his eyes and
stretches his arthritic muscles;
"my muscles aren't what they used to be"
he bitterly complains to himself;
but what did he use his muscles for?
nothing
except for the strainful work of his
job;
did he have anything
Final Act p. 1The old man sits in a silent peace
amidst the confusion and chaos
of a people gone mad in panic
running from Death,
but Death is everywhere,
and he is not afraid,
for he has lived his life
and is looking forward to freedom
from his earthly restraints
and the evils man has created;
he looks sympathetically
into the faces of children
bewildered, not able to
understand this final sin of man,
a sin willingly entered
by men they were taught to trust,
men they never knew,
but men that had destroyed their futures
and experiences of Life;
he once thought there was Hope for mankind
but now he knows there is none
for the ultimate l

There's an awesome traditional cakes shop in Tamshue, on a street just behind the boardwalk. They even cook the cakes in an oven on the sidewalk. It makes the whole block smell wonderful.

I would go there and see how much red bean pastry I can buy.
The picture look beautiful although what caught my eye the most
is the kid and the two adults in the corner under the light.

That's the focus of the photo...the red bean cakes are in the front, but the family has this strong key-lighting that leads the eye there. I usually use a prime lens, so I can't "zoom in"...but in exchange I get faster, sharper photos in a kit that fits in the front pocket of my sweatshirt. ;)
