South American architecture is often very colorful and I like the way he uses that as a background.

I was referring to the continent, not region...N. America being Canada, the US, and Mexico and S. America being...wait...what separates north & south America? Is it's the Panama canal, then Guatemala is in north America...

Now I'm confused. Damn arbitrary geography!

nah, what happens is you have several small countries in between north and south america and that's Central America, Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, Belize and Panama (though Panama sometimes counts as South America because of historical borders since it was part of Colombia during the spanish colonial period).

:P but the whole thing from mexico to argentina is called Latin America a french distinction during the invasion of mexico and the rein of Maximilian I Emperor of Mexico...

nope, City of God, years ago.. I remember wanting to go a long time before that after seeing a documentary though
