I said 'photo', because I use that one more than some of the other ones, but I sometimes think of them in terms of instants (or parts) of reality, as each photo is only one possible part of an vast number of possible parts of a greater reality. For example, if a photo was snapped in one instant, another one could have been snapped a second later (and sometimes is) or just a little more to the left or right, giving us another part of the same reality

Yep, the same as Eliza, everything but pick and image. I think there is a hidden correlation on this, with people that uses the word photo/photograph, and the rest.

I really don't know/it depends. I try to avoid being among those who'd call a macro shot/pic/photo of a dead snail a "capture".
