I watched the first episode of Fringe and already couldn't sit through the 10 minute intro of the woman constantly screaming. That tipped me over the edge for a bad experience.
As for Chuck...it has the upper hand? There are times when it seems dumb enough to question why you're even watching, however, there is something about that post show boredom you might love about it after watching whatever better show was on before it.
As for neither...highly possible. Fringe = 1st (trial) season, Chuck = 2nd chance after last season? That's how it was, right? I read about that in the paper or something.
Either way. I stick to my House on Mondays and The Office on Thursdays because it is a) something to look forward to in the week, and c) I have hopes it will make me laugh or...turn toward season 2 or 3 for comedy and style. Now we have romance and...misc scenarios going on that just aren't the same.
It's 12:49am for this college student...and I am remarkably tired. Hence, why this comment is so long and rambunctious (to an extent).
Cheers to a warmer weather situation that I hope you are in. I'm still looking for my solid 70 degrees each week where mother nature doesn't take a glass of ice water and dip our half of chicago into it. ugh. it's tiring.
(so sorry for the lengthy comment. Never expected it. l-o-l)

BTW, Fringe has gotten a LOT better.
I might have to withdraw be start up experience and take a shot at the tube when it comes on next week then
I gotta get finals done. Then it's off to raid the video library of full episodes for Fringe on FOX.com
